Bob & Lou's was started by Sarah Knabel, who launched a mobile coffee camper in July 2020 and named it after her grandparents, Bob and Mary Lou Johanningmeier. It has since opened a walk up shop on University Ave in Dubuque. Events can book the vintage inspired camper or a newer espresso cart that works indoors or outdoors all year, with a barista or as a do it yourself setup.
