Petite Rouge was started by New Orleans bartender Julie Anne Pieri and film teamster Kurt Schmiederer, after Kurt could not find a good cup of coffee on Louisiana film sets. They serve from a vintage 1970 Citroen H-Van or an espresso cart. House syrups and locally sourced products set the menu apart. They also run a cafe on Calhoun Street in New Orleans.
